Does EV1 sensor replace, or compliment Airmar heading sensor when installing EV-10o - Bill Shepherd - 10-23-17 02:53 PM

I am installing an EV-100 wheel pilot on to my Seatalk backbone for use with my e127 MFD. I have an Airmar heading sensor installed about 5 years ago. It looks like the EV1 sensor core should replace the Airmar, but I want to confirm.

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Bill,

The EV-1/2 combines the functions of course computer and heading sensor within a single component. Evolution autopilots will exclusively accept heading data from the system's EV-1 or EV2 CCU.
