Splicing Seagalk NG cables - mlaver - 11-11-17 07:21 PM I'm in the process of upgrading my wind, speed, and depth instruments and eventually my autopilot. I would like to replace the Seatalk 1 cable that currently feeds my NavPod with a SeatalkNG spur cable. However, the conduits are already stuffed and I suspect I'll have to cut the connector of the STng cable to pull it through. Can STng spur cables be cut and re-spliced? Thanks. - Mick RE: Splicing Seagalk NG cables - Chuck - Raymarine - Moderator - 11-13-17 12:51 PM Mick, Yes. Please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject. |
