EV-150 - Hydraulic line connections - marinemods - 11-16-17 11:14 PM Is there a specific hydraulic lines need to be connected to the type 1 pump. The ports are labeled A - B - R R = Reservoir A = Port? B = Starboard? I haven't installed the pump yet and want to make sure it's connected properly. RE: EV-150 - Hydraulic line connections - Chuck - Raymarine - Moderator - 11-17-17 11:07 AM Welcome to the Raymarine Forum marinemods, As you have indicated, the port labeled "R" should be connected to the reservoir. However, there is no assignment specified with regard to which of the ports labeled "A" and "B" should be connected to the port and starboard hydraulic lines. Proper phasing is accomplished during the dockside wizard. Should commanding the autopilot to shift the rudder to port instead result in causing the rudder to be shifted to starboard, then the hydraulic pump's motor leads would simply need to connected to the opposite Motor A and Motor B terminals of the ACU (e.g. connect the motor lead which had been connected to the ACU's Motor A terminal to the ACU's Motor B terminal; and connect the motor lead which had been connected to the ACU's Motor B terminal to the ACU's Motor a terminal). RE: EV-150 - Hydraulic line connections - marinemods - 11-17-17 10:04 PM That part of the setup was actually within the AP Commissioning. RE: EV-150 - Hydraulic line connections - Shockedby277v - 05-06-20 07:24 PM So we just pick one and go with it and the ACU figures it out later?
