Looking at a boat with a C90W plotter, is that unit compatible with an AIS transceiver using 38400 BAUD?

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Bob,
The C-Series Widescreen MFDs will accept communications from an AIS receiver or transceiver via either its SeaTalkng (NMEA 2000) communications interface or its 38400 BAUD NMEA 0183 communications interface. If seeking a Raymarine AIS receiver or transceiver, then the AIS350 or AIS650 respectively would be recommended. Raymarine also offers VHF radios having internal AIS receiver circuitry (ex. Ray70 and Ray260).
