[CA] CPT200 and CP200 - extensions, towfish - mark426 - 01-04-18 06:35 PM

Hi,

What is the maximum length that the CP200 and CPT200 can be extended without a repeater, whether in segments of the 4m extension cable or by cutting, shielding, and potting it manually?

I'm looking at the possibility to tow the sidescan rather than transom mounting it to get some usable performance.

Thanks!

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Mark,

Please click here to view a FAQ addressing splicing fishfinder transducer cables. Raymarine offer the A80305 CPT-200 Transducer Extension Cable. Only one CPT-200 Transducer Cable may be used with a CPT-200 Transducers. Please note that Raymarine has neither designed nor tested the CPT-200 for any application other than transom mounting and as such, support for your intended application may be limited.
