(DG) EV-100 Wheelpilot / NMEA 2000 - dsdraymarine - 02-22-18 09:41 AM

Have purchased a new EV-100 Wheelpilot. Already have installed a NMEA 200 backbone supporting wind, speed, depth, and chartplotter (all Garmin).

I believe I understand the Wheelpilot may be connected via the NMEA 200. Is it as simple as connecting via the NMEA 200 spur cable that is available from Raymarine?

Thank-you.

Hi dsdraymarine
Thank you for your enquiry.

The NMEA2000 backbone used already will have devicenet connectors and so the Evolution autopilot can be connected to the backbone, via spur cables which have STng one end and Devicenet the other.
This link click here also look here too for FAQs which will give information regarding cables to use.
thanks
