(DG) Inline fuse size E80 with rd424 4kw radome - captdana - 03-07-18 10:48 PM Installing a classic E80 with rd424 4kw radome running off of the mfd. What size fuse should be used inline power to the E80. E80 manual says to refer to radar manual---radar manual says to refer to MFD. Maybe I missed something RE: (DG) Inline fuse size E80 with rd424 4kw radome - Derek - Raymarine - Moderator - 03-08-18 07:32 AM Hi captdana Thank you for your enquiry. The E80 Classic display will use a 6.3Amp anti-surge fuse if operated without a radar scanner attached. When installed in a system with a radar scanner, the fuse size depends on the scanner attached, so in your case with a 4kw radome, we recommend using a 15Amp fuse or equivalent circuit breaker. regards |
