Does the AIS650 need a dedicated GPS antenna, or will the internal one on the MFD suffice.

Thank you for your enquiry.
The AIS 650 must have its own dedicated GPS antenna connected direct to it, this will not interfere with the system GPS used by the rest of the navigation network - which could be either the internal GPS in the MFD or it could be another external GPS antenna.
