I already run an A77 MFD on my boat and would like to add chirp with a second display. I know the differences between the A series and the Dragonfly in terms of interfacing with other products and touchscreen. However, all I really need to know is if the chirp itself is the same between the 2 units. I know they use a different transom mount transducer, so just wondering if the actual sonar performance and capabilities are the same or not?

The CHIRP conical sonar and DownVision technology within Dragonfly, ax8 MFDs, eSx8 MFDs, and the CP100 are identical.
