I've ordered a Quantum 2 radar and would like to know if it is ok to cut the radar cable and install connectors on it at the base of my mast. Does Raymarine have the connectors?

Thank you for your enquiry below.
Whilst it is always best to avoid joins in the cable - every join introduces a potential failure point, as long as they are made carefully and correctly, it should not be a problem. Please refer here for more information.
Raymarine do not supply such connectors, and would recommend the connection be made below decks or in a protected area.
