[CA] Seeing own boat as AIS target - Mick - 05-02-18 03:44 PM We are getting our own boat as an AIS target on the Axiom Pro MFD's.(Axiom pro 9 & 15) We updated the software on the MFD's and just did the software update to the Raymarine AIS 650, via the SD card. We are still getting the AIS target. This is a problem because we can't delete it and it is blocking the boat icon on the screen. Any input is appreciated. RE: [CA] Seeing own boat as AIS target - Chuck - Raymarine - Moderator - 05-04-18 12:32 PM Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Mick, Please specify how you have interfaced the AIS650 to your MFD ... via SeaTalkng/NMEA 2000, via NMEA 0183, or both. Please additionally specify whether the system includes any additional AIS receiver or transceivers such as one which may be part of a VHF radio. RE: [CA] Seeing own boat as AIS target - Mick - 05-08-18 06:23 AM We found that the Icom VHF was picking up the Raymarine AIS650 & displaying the target over nmea2k. We blocked the MMSI # in the Icom and that took care of the problem. RE: [CA] Seeing own boat as AIS target - Chuck - Raymarine - Moderator - 05-08-18 08:10 AM You're welcome. |
