I have a new Rd424HD that operates fine unless the unit is asked to operate past 6 mi scale. Also, same symptom of shutting off when the faster speed is chosen in ranges below 6mi. The radar is using the 15m cable length, I’m concerned that it may be experiencing voltage drop.
Does that seem probable vs software?
Unit connected to an Axiom Pro 12 RVX, with latest software. —no network switch.

It is recommended that the vessel be hooked up to shore power, that its batteries be permitted to charge. Afterwards and while still connected to shore power, it is recommended that the radome be tested. Should the problem persist and the loaded system voltage measured at the radome end of the Digital Radar Cable, then it would be recommended that the radome be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced.
