My a78 displays "Vectors Rel" highlighted in pink on the chart page in the upper left hand corner. What does that indicate? Using NOAA vector charts.

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum scoffer,
The referenced text is not dependent upon any specific type of cartography used with the MFD. The referenced text will be displayed when the Chart application's Radar Overlay feature has been configured to ON and the Motion Mode setting has been configured to Relative Motion. This text is alerting the operator that the reported data for targets will be in the relative reference frame rather than the true reference frame.
