How to see thermclines - flbluerunner - 04-09-16 02:05 PM

I have an A98, to a CP570 to a R109C-LHW.

I would like to know what adjustments I need to make to see thermoclines while swordfishing in 2000 feet?

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum flbluerunner,

Ability of sonar systems to provide imagery of a thermocline is dependent upon the the thickness of the thermocline, gradient of the thermocline, and amount of organics suspended within the thermocline. Other than increasing the gain, there'n not much more that may be done improve the chance of being able to have the system provide sonar imagery of a thermocline.
