Since Raymarine makes such reliable hardware I suspect the MFDs running Lighthouse II will be in use for many years to come. I understand that Raymarine has moved on and will no longer be providing updates to Lighthouse II. I hope that Raymarine will make Lighthouse II open source or expandable in some way allowing users to continue development.
