[CA11] Replacing a 6001 autopilot - Robert Eder - 07-04-18 12:12 PM

I'm having problems with my st 6001 autopilot. Have already replaced my fluxgate compass with negative results. Rather then spend more on replacement parts I've decided to replace auto pilot. What specific packaged system do I need to order? I'm installing on a 28' Bahacruiser s twin screw boat. I will not need to replace hydraulic pump correct? Thank you in advance for your assistance. Regards

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Robert,

It is quite possible that the currently installed hydraulic pump may be retained for use with new Evolution autopilot components. I would need to know the model or part number of the current autopilot's hydraulic pump and would additionally need to know whether the system features a 12V or 24V electrical system.
