Compare eS127 and eS128 - debevecjeff - 04-17-16 08:53 PM

Dear Raymarine,
I will soon replace an old Raymarine MFD on my 36 ft sailboat with a new eS127 or eS128. Please advise differences regarding sonar, charts, and thru hull sensors. I will not likely use fish finding functions. Thanks, Jeff D.

debevecjeff,

These products differ only in the type of fishfinding sonar circuitry which is built into these MFDs. The ax7, cx7, e7D, ex7, and eSx7 MFDs feature traditional 600W (800'+) 50kHz/200kHz conical fishfinding sonar circuitry and would be mated to any of the transducers found here. The ax8 MFDs and eSx8 MFDs feature 600' CHIRP (conical) / DownVision fishfinder sonar circuitry and may be mated to any of the transducers found here.
