Gateway for ProNautic Battery Charger remote? - ddfour1 - 07-20-18 11:00 AM

Is there any way to display the data that would normally go to ProNautic's P charger helm remote instead on an Axiom display? The ProNautic helm remote connects to the ProNautic battery charger using an RJ11 style plug. Would prefer to avoid another piece of hardware if it is at all possible to display the data on my existing Axiom display. Thanks.

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum ddfour1,

In order for MFDs running LightHouse II or LightHouse 3 software to report battery data, the MFD and battery monitor (ex. Maretron DCM100, etc.) / charger must each be interfaced as spurs to the system's powered and properly terminated SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 backbone. Unfortunately, I was unable to locate any information about the ProNautic's P charger or its helm remote confirming that either feature a NMEA 2000 communications interface or which NMEA 2000 PGNs they support. Accordingly, it is recommended that Promariner be contacted to determine whether their chargers support this capability.
