Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Wstandis,

With regard to features which require heading, a Quantum no different from that of Digital/HD Digital Radome or HD/SuperHD Open Array Radar. Please click here to view a FAQ addressing heading dependent radar features. In short radar overlay of the Chart application is supported with COG alone. However, the vessel must be underway and making way (the only time that COG is available / valid) in order to enable radar overlay of the Chart application.
