[DG11] adapter for a Raymic / 54eVHF - jim5099 - 08-08-18 02:02 PM

I have a Ray 54E below deck and a Raymic in the cockpit.

Recently the adapter that connects the Raymic to the extension cable corroded (pins broke off). I normally keep the Raymic below when not in use but the 'thru-bulkhead' adapter with its (flimsy) dust cover is fixed in the open.

Can you advise the Raymarine part number and availability for this 'thru-bulkhead' adapter pls ? Is it A80296 ?

I see that the original adapter came as part of the 5m cable extension kit (A46054). Do I need to buy the entire assembly again or can I buy only the bulkhead adapter ?

Thanks in advance,

Jim5099

HI jim5099

Do you mean you have a RAY55E? In which case you will need the A46054 complete.
Thanks
Derek

Hi,

I have same problem with broken pin. Replacing whole cable from stern to chart table needs massive rerouting. What is the wiring coding if I have to cut cable and make a junction box?

Dear Lehtoant,

Thank you for your post.

Can you confirm the model of your VHF?

We no longer have the the schematics for the RAY54e due to the age of the product.

Many Thanks
Louise

Dear Lehtoant,

Thank you for your post.

We do have some cables in service that are available for you to splice to your current cable and replace the connector.

If you email me at [email protected] I can put you in touch with the service team who can quote and send this to you.

Many Thanks
Louise
