Long story short. A modified cable was plugged into the Seatalk network that should not of been. It was removed but now the autopilot control head reports no pilot. I have checked the "about this system" and the only item reporting is the p70. The ACU100 and EV1 do not show. I have checked all of the network connections and the Seatalk power leg. The EV100 shows green LED and the EV1 shows a flashing red LED. Any other advise on identifying the damaged component?

The flashing red LED on the EV1 suggests there is an issue with the EV1 and so would start diagnostics at that point, try to reset it or upload new software into it on its own on a small isolated backbone.
