Ethernet communications between a computer and Raymarine network of a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs is limited to Raymarine Voyage Planner software ... and that interface is limited to synchronization of waypoint/route data. You may want to look at interfacing your computer to your MFD's NMEA 0183 or SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 communications interface. The Brookhouse iMux is commonly used for bridging NMEA 0183 sources to Mac computers. These interfaces will not support sharing of cartography, radar imagery, fishfinder imagery, marine weather, satellite radio, or Fusion radio control. |
