[CA11] Can I get Chirp with my C127 ? - vietpimp999 - 10-11-18 12:40 PM

Hi! I bought a boat a few months and it came with a Raymarine C127 unit, after a couple months of struggling to find fish I realized that it didnt come with a transducer because the transducer plug in the back of the unit is empty. I want to get a transducer for this unit and I was wondering if any of the CHIRP transducer would be compatible with the unit. Thanks, Tommy

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum,

The internal fishfinder circuitry of the cx7 MFDs is designed to support use with the 600W 50kHz/200kHz fishfinder transducers found here. Compatible 1kW CHIRP fishfinder transducers cannot be directly interfaced a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs. Instead, these 1kW CHIRP fishfinder transducers would be interfaced to a CP470/570 CHIRP Sounder Module, which in turn would be interfaced to the MFD Ethernet (RayNet) socket or HS5 RayNet Network Switch via an appropriate length of RayNet (F) to RayNet (F) Cable.
