[CA11] Axiom 7 RV loses depth after 300ft - Mackerel Mark - 10-11-18 08:19 PM
Got a new Boston Whaler and had the factory install a new Axiom 7 RV and today after finally being able to take it out into the Ocean for first time for some reason it loses depth after 300ft. I have it set to sonar / chirp any idea's what it could be?

As indicated within the FAQ found here, maximum depth performance of the relatively low power output of RealVision and DownVision transducers, depth performance may be less in areas having strong thermoclines such as the Pacific coast of the US. As indicated therein, it is recommended that the system include a 1kW transducer as well.
