[CA11] Can't create Wind-related Data overlays - spellegrin - 10-30-18 09:11 PM
The Lighthouse 3 manual on page 202 says that "The data items listed below can be added to a Dashboard data page or to an app's Data overlay.
The list of items is long and includes many wind-related items. True enough, any of them can be added to a dashboard, but none are available for use as a data overlay.
Is the manual incorrect? Is the use of wind as an overlay a yet-to-be-implemented feature? Or is this a bug?

Unfortunately, the LightHouse 3 Advanced Operations Guide may be a bit ahead of itself with respect to Sidebar and Data Overlay data items and wind data is not presently among the data item supported by the Sidebar and Data Overlay features. A feature request has been logged to consider supporting all data items supported by the Dashboard feature within the MFD's Sidebar and Data Overlay features within a future LightHouse 3 software update.
