[CA11] ST5000+ as secondary control? - bucksh0t - 01-18-19 08:16 AM I have a Raymarine 400G with the ST6000+ control head. The system is working fine but I need to add a secondary control up in the tower. I have a ST5000+ head that I bought locally. I tried a quick test by plugging it into the SeaTalk network but the 5000+ could not seem to find the rudder information. Is this unit not capable of running as a control head only or are there some settings I need to change? Thanks Lee RE: [CA11] ST5000+ as secondary control? - Chuck - Raymarine - Moderator - 01-18-19 11:04 AM Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Lee, Please note that the ST5000+ is not an autopilot control head. The ST4000/ST4000+/ST5000/ST5000+ devices combined autopilot control head and autopilot course computer into a single device. These devices are not intended to be used a replacement for an autopilot control head or to be used as an additional autopilot control head for the system. A p70S or P70RS autopilot control head would be recommended for systems featuring a Type 150/400 autopilot course computer. |
