[DG] NEMA 0183 Data From Type 100 CC? - dtfeld - 01-29-19 08:59 AM

I have a radio that I need to send GPS coordinates. The radio has NEMA 0183 Input and output, but all I really need is one way communication. Previously, I had an a128 installed with NEMA 0183, connected and working fine.

The Type 100 Course Computer has NEMA data output terminals. The GPS data should be coming from an Axiom 12 RV via SeaTalk to SeatalkNG converter.

Any reason this will not work?

HI dtfeld

Thank you for your enquiry,

As long as there is GPS information within the SeaTalk1 network, then the T100 Course computer will output this via the NMEA0183 output.

So the GPS data from the AXIOM will be converted to SeaTalk via the converter and then output from the T100 Via NMEA0183

Regards
Derek
