Does Lighthouse 3 now support tide and current animations (ie at selected dates). I currently have an earlier version that only has present day current and tide info.

Indeed, animated tides and currents are supported within the latest LightHouse 3 software (v3.8.97 at the time of this response). Details for the use of this feature may be found within Chapter 8.7: Tides mode of the LightHouse 3.8 Advanced Operation Instructions.
