[DG11] Interference with different transducer - Starboard - 02-05-19 06:57 AM

Hi, some question about possible interference between different transducer on same boat.

Transducer should be installed close each other

1. CPT-S on Axiom 9 RV AND SS60 with CP370 connect to a125

2. DST800 on ITC-5 and CPT-S on Axiom12 Pro S (maybe better a non chirp transducer used on 50Khz instead of CPT-s?)

3. Which is frequency range for CPT-S? It's available a table with all frequency and cone for Raymarine transducers, included Realvision 3D?

Many Thanks
F.C.

Hi Starboard,

Assuming that you have an 8 pin variant of the SS60 transducer, this can connect to the CP370 which can then be connected through RayNet to an a125. Note that you cannot connect an a125 into the same network as the AXIOM RV.

If you follow the installation guidelines with regards to separation of transducers, (no closer than 150mm) , then you will have no issues.

The CPT-S is a chirp transducer and so will not affect the DST800, however, make sure that you use the multiple data source selection in the MFD to ensure you are displaying the depth from whichever transducer you prefer.

The Chirp centre frequency is 200kHz
