[DG11] dragonfly 7 pro - danosullivan - 02-20-19 12:47 PM Hi all, new to this page. i just purchased a Dragonfly 7 Pro for my Mitchell 31. As the engine is inboard the propeller is underneath the boat and i hoped that i could get some advice on where exactly i should place the transducer. All the internet has shown me is boats with outboard engines. Thanks in advance :) RE: [DG11] dragonfly 7 pro - Derek - Raymarine - Moderator - 02-22-19 07:19 AM Hi Danosullivan, Thank you for your enquiry, The correct transducer to use with an inboard engine is the through hull unit, CPT70 or CPT80 The location is best identied using the guidelines shown here to ensure it is mounted correctly and in an area of clear water flow.
