[DG11] Autopilot ST1000+ NMEA Message - jesper.renz - 04-08-19 07:29 AM Hi, I want to use my Raspberry Pi to send NMEA telegrams with ordered heading to the ST1000+ Autopilot. What is the required Baudrate? What is the correct frequency? And how does the NMEA message looks like? I was trying a message like this: $GPAPB,V,V,0.01,L,N,V,V,160,M,DEST,170,M,170,M*25\r\n Or like this: $GPAPB,,,,L,,,,160,,,170,M,170,M*3F\r\n But the ST1000+ doesn't respond. I look forward to hear some hints :) Thank you, Jesper RE: [DG11] Autopilot ST1000+ NMEA Message - Derek - Raymarine - Moderator - 04-10-19 10:43 AM Hi Jesper, The required NMEA0183 sentances are APB and XTE, BTW will also help. The Baud rate is 4800 and 2 Hz update rate is good We recommend that you contact NMEA direct, here, since they can supply all the necessary information regarding the data format, structure of sentences etc . . regards Derek |
