[CA11] Best approach to bench test radar? - YoBub - 04-11-19 12:55 PM I have a used RD218 that I would like to test before installation. It will be connected to a E120. The RD218 User Manual talks about grounding the array to the boat's RF ground system. To test I will be connecting power from a stand alone 12v marine battery to the E120, through a fused connection. If I want to bench test before installation, what is the best way to ground this? Can it just go to the negative battery terminal, or do I need some separate ground? Thanks. Can it just go to the negative battery terminal, or do I need some separate ground? A. Your suggestion is quite acceptable for testing the radome. |
