[CA11] using autohelm mechanical linear drive - gatotom - 04-22-19 04:39 PM

Can I use autohelm mechanical linear drive unit with a new acu-200?
Sabre 38 Mk 2 has existing autohelm autopilot. I have raymarine lighthouse mfd and a ev 1 sensor.

I would then need a p70s or a p70Rs control head?

Thanks for your time

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Tom,

Raymarine has produced three models of mechanical linear drives. In order to answer your question, it would be necessary to positively which model of mechanical linear drive is presently installed onboard the vessel. If supplied with a photo of the mechanical drive unit's product ID / serial number label (which clearly shows all information which is printed on the label), then it may be possible to identify the mechanical drive unit.
