[CA11] Storing AIS data in memory - Axiom - jefti - 05-07-19 06:15 AM Hi, I'm using an Axiom 9 RV at the moment. AIS works great. What I find annoying though, is that after a restart of the Axiom, all details of AIS targets are "forgotten". Every single vessel is displayed with MMSI only, and one has to wait for the AIS sentence with all the details before a vessel is recognizable. This takes 6 minutes, or 12 minutes if you've missed the first sentence. I run Shipplotter on a fixed server, and that application stores all details for further use. A file with over 30k vessels is only 1.5 MB, so storing it is not a big thing, but is very helpfull. Could such a feature be added into Lighthouse?
