Hummingbird 1199 CI/SI Display - rtsplace - 05-15-16 07:34 AM Hello, I'm wondering about tying in my Hummingbird display into my EV-100 Autopilot with a p70r control ? I searched for Hummingbird but nothing came up? Is there a adapter cable to do this if so would someone know the part number and or process ? Thank you Ray RE: Hummingbird 1199 CI/SI Display - Steve - Raymarine - Moderator - 05-16-16 11:42 AM What interfaces are available with the Hummingbird unit? NMEA 2000 or NMEA 0183? RE: Hummingbird 1199 CI/SI Display - rtsplace - 05-16-16 03:03 PM Steve, I thought it best to look it up to be sure. It support both, here's what I copied from specs. This unit is furnished with a high speed processor, superior to the previous 1100 series units. It offers ethernet, NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 connectivity options. Thanks Ray RE: Hummingbird 1199 CI/SI Display - Steve - Raymarine - Moderator - 05-16-16 03:31 PM OK, if it does have a NMEA 2000 interface, you can connect it directly to the Seatalk NG backbone established by the Evolution cabling kit that comes with the Evolution autopilot using the DeviceNet to Seatalk NG adapter cable, you would just choose the cable depending on the Male or Female nature of the NMEA 2000 connector of the Hummingbird display. http://www.raymarine.com/view/?id=5536 - under the Adapter Cable Tab. |
