[CA11] AIS 250, supported NMEA-183 Sentences - Peanpe - 05-17-19 01:18 AM
Is there anybody out there who knows or has a complete list of supported NMEA183 sentences for the multiplexer-part of the AIS-250 receiver?
In particular I´m interested in passing/integrating DSC data from the VHF radio (4,8k) to the plotter (38k).

The multiplexer of the mulitplexer of the AIS250, AIS500, AIS350, AIS650, and AIS700 is not designed to format or reformat data. The multiplexer simply re-transmits NMEA 0183 sentences which it receives. Accordingly, the NMEA 0183 mulitplexer of these AIS receivers/transceivers will re-transmit via their 4800 BAUD NMEA 0183 output leads any NMEA 0183 sentence (including proprietary sentences) received via the AIS receiver/transceiver's 38400 BAUD NMEA 0183 input leads. Similarly, the NMEA 0183 mulitplexer of these AIS receivers/transceivers will re-transmit via their 38400 BAUD NMEA 0183 output leads any NMEA 0183 sentence (including proprietary sentences) received via the AIS receiver/transceiver's 4800 BAUD NMEA 0183 input leads.
