Is there a vertical clearance requirement where an open array radar passes over a spotlight? Thank you.

Q. Is there a vertical clearance requirement where an open array radar passes over a spotlight?
A. Negative. However, if seeking maximum performance of the radar system, the radar transducer will be mounted above such objects. Third party radome and open array pedestal mounts are available in the marketplace to permit the radome or pedestal to be mounted sufficiently high enough to allow the beam of the radar transducer to pass over nearby objects.
