[CA11] Axiom, HS5 network switch and NMEA 0183 - tl454c - 05-21-19 10:09 PM So I have upgraded my electronics (E120 classic) with an Axiom 12 and a Axiom 9 and I am using a HS5 network switch to interface the displays and the digital radar. The one thing I did not take into consideration was the NMEA 0183 connection for my VHF DSC. I have the NMEA multiplexer currently installed. Sorting through the forum I cannot find a solution for just using the HS5 switch, but it appears that you can use a seatalkng network, is there a solution to just use the HS5 switch? Thanks RE: [CA11] Axiom, HS5 network switch and NMEA 0183 - Chuck - Raymarine - Moderator - 05-24-19 10:07 AM Welcome to the Raymarine Forum, Q. Is there a solution to just use the HS5 switch? A. Negative. The recommended solution would be to use data from the SeaTalkng backbone. Please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject. |
