[LW11] Boat showing backwards - Jools - 05-28-19 04:49 AM Hi, I have an A75 MFD and the boat is showing as going backwards, is it just a case of calibrating it? Also how do I link it to show AIS data from a Ray70 VHF? Thanks RE: [LW11] Boat showing backwards - Louise - Raymarine - Moderator - 06-07-19 05:11 AM Dear jools, Thank you for your query. Thank you for your enquiry. The boat symbol direction is determined by the heading input to the system. If there is a compass input to your MFD, either from NMEA or from an autopilot, then check the compass on this device, since it is likely it will be wrong. Please refer to this advice for further instructions and guidance Recalibrate the compass input to the system and the boat symbol will display correctly. The Ray70 can be connected via NMEA0183 or STng, please refer to the manual available here for connecting the Ray70. Many Thanks Louise |
