[CA11] RS 125 vs RS 150 - adamcap - 05-29-19 07:29 PM

Hello,

I currently have a Raystar 125 GPS antenna on my E 120 Classic and I'm getting a Good Fix. Will upgrading to a Raystar 150 provide any improved performance or is it not really necessary at this time?

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum adamcap,

The Raystar 150 GPS Sensor's performance is indeed better than that of the Raystar 125 GPS Sensor ... most notably in its filtering. This will translate into more accurate ground log/trip data and more stable plotting of the vessel's position when the vessel is stationary or operating at maneuvering speed.
