[CA11] P70s Task fail - inconsistant values - peter warm - 06-06-19 04:04 AM I had some issue last year with the MFD gps and ACU100 direction being out of sync -~15-20 degrees, just serious enough to be irritating. So I proposed to re commission the P70s to align the gps/ACU. Unfortunately this gives a Task fail - inconsistent values. What can I do now? Component and networks shown attached. Thanks pete RE: [CA11] P70s Task fail - inconsistant values - Chuck - Raymarine - Moderator - 06-06-19 12:22 PM Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Pete, With respect to the diagram which you have provide, it is recommended that the 12V power feed to the ST60 instruments shown within your diagram be removed, as it may result in a ground loop. The SeaTalk bus should be powered from the SeaTalkng /NMEA 2000 backbone via the SeaTalk to SeaTalkng Converter. Next, please respond with the versions of software within the MFD, Evolution autopilot components, and SeaTalk to SeaTalkng Converter (HOME->SETTINGS->NETWORK->DIAGNOSTICS->PRODUCT INFO). RE: [CA11] P70s Task fail - inconsistant values - peter warm - 06-14-19 08:17 AM Thanks. In fact because there are more than 3 St60s the power from the sting converter is not connected to the st60 bus, just the neutral and yellow The softwaRe versions are shown within this screenshot Thanks! RE: [CA11] P70s Task fail - inconsistant values - Chuck - Raymarine - Moderator - 06-17-19 10:23 AM Peter, Q1. In fact because there are more than 3 St60s the power from the sting converter is not connected to the st60 bus, just the neutral and yellow. A1. This is not considered to be a best practice. As indicated within the FAQ found here, each SeaTalk to SeaTalkng Converter can support up to 5 devices. Should more than 5 devices be within the SeaTalk bus, the an additional SeaTalk to SeaTalkng Converter would be recommended. Q2. The softwaRe versions are shown within this screenshot A2. The ST-STng Converter is approximately 1-1/2 years out of date (currently one revision behind) and should be updated to v2.03. The EV-1 CCU's software is more than 2 years out of date (currently two revisions behind) and should be updated to v3.02. The ACU is not listed. It is possible that the circuit supplying the ACU with power was either switched OFF or has been loaded with a version of software which is incompatible with the EV-1 CCU. In the case of the latter, temporarily unplugging the EV-1 CCU from the backbone will permit the ACU to be listed and its software to be updated if found to not also have the latest software installed within it. The EV-1 may be plugged into the backbone after having updated the ACU's software. Each of these devices is designed to be updated via the MFD. Finally, after updating the software within these components, a Pilot Factory Reset and the other items specified within the FAQ found here must be performed. RE: [CA11] P70s Task fail - inconsistant values - peter warm - 07-23-19 04:06 AM Ok, done all that, thanks. Acu100 powered up this time and reports software version 2.23. Is this the latest version? Good to check before autopilot calibration! (Mfd did not update ACU despite multiple reboots) Pete RE: [CA11] P70s Task fail - inconsistant values - Chuck - Raymarine - Moderator - 07-23-19 03:46 PM Pete, Q. Acu100 powered up this time and reports software version 2.23. Is this the latest version? A. Yes. RE: [CA11] P70s Task fail - inconsistant values - peter warm - 07-24-19 06:11 AM Brilliant, on to autopilot calibration friday. Great support, thanks.
