How can I connect SMART CONTROLLER to a ACU-400 sail autopilot?

Thank you for your enquiry.
The Raymarine Smartcontroller is a SeaTalk device and so can be connected to the STng network onboard your boat via the E22158 SeaTalk to STng converter. This link accessed here describes this in more detail.
