Morning All,
I have a 2006 Sea Ray 320 Sundancer with all original electronics. I am trying to setup my Sat TV. I have the appropriate receiver, but it seems my firmware has not been updated for some time. I purchased the USB to serial cable, but on the website I only see GEN II firmware. Can I use that firmware to upgrade? Or where can I find the correct firmware?

Please excuse the delay in this response. Raymarine product support would not advise the end user to upgrade the firmware within the receiver. Additionally, no firmware update was produced for the Gen 1 STV45 receiver.

I spoke with someone in Raymarine and we tried changing the SAT settings but I was told the firmware on the ACU was outdated and needed to be updated.

Unfortunately, the technician with whom you spoke provided incorrect information regarding the Gen 1 45STV ... no firmware update was produced for the Gen 1 STV45 receiver.
