[JH11] Looking to upgrade MFD's and Sonar - Grady330 - 09-03-19 12:00 PM
My current set-up consists of (1) E97 screen and (1) E95 screen. The E95 is attached to a CP370 sonar module with a B258 through hull transducer. The set-up has never really worked offshore for whatever reason. I'm looking to upgrade my screens to larger and higher def units and my fish finding capability for offshore canyon fishing. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

Thank you for your post and your continued interest in Raymarine equipment.
For upgrading you system I would be best for you to look at the new Axiom Pro Series units which are available in both 12" and 16" screen that would be larger and higher definition then you current 9" e series.
For the Fishfinder side looking at out CP470 and CP570 models of sounder modules are the best direction for fishing the canyons and reaching those depths. Then you would pair one of those units with a 1kw or 2kw Airmar Chirp transducer that has a low chirp to reach the deeper waters and a High chirp for shallower waters. This would both help your depth performance and resolution with your fishfinder capability.
