Is the Element HV capable of displaying AIS data from a receiver on the NMEA 2000 network?

The Element does support AIS data on NMEA2000. What unit are you specifically looking at networking and I can advise on recommendation.

Thank you very much for answering.
I was gifted one QK-A028-N2K AIS receiver from Quark-Elec. My current N2K network just connects the outboard to the Element HV.
Since I would have to modify the network to connect the AIS receiver, I wanted to know if the element unit was compatible with AIS.

Thank you for your post.
The Element is STng which is NMEA2000 compliant. The Element will receive AIS message over NMEA2000. As long as the AIS receiver is NMEA2000 there will be no issues.
