The model of autopilot course computer to be installed is dictated by the model of autopilot drive unit which has been installed on the boat. As Derek had previously indicated the X5 is not designed for use within a Type 1 Hydraulic Pump, in that it is not designed to support the current/power demands of a Type 1 Hydraulic Pump. If seeking a second hand legacy autopilot course computer to replace your failed S1 course computer, then an S1, S1G, S2, S2G, S3, S3G, X10, or X30 should be sought.
