[CA11] Rn300 to a78 by wifi
Hello everything,

I have an old rn300 on a navpod. An st4000 wheel pilot, i50 depth and speed, st60 Wind all connected by Dominos. I want to connect all this by wifi (via yakker wifi hub) to an A78 mfd in front of the chart table without passing cables.
1. Will the a78 receive nmea 0183 informations?
2. Will the A78 become slave or master?
3. Will the A78 plug and play thé other sévices?
Best regards

Chris

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Chris,

Unfortunately, it is not possible for the WiFi communications processing of the a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs or Axiom/Axiom Pro/Axiom XL MFDs to support communications in the manner which you have suggested. The correct method of interfacing these products would be via a wired connection between the SeaTalk bus and a SeaTalk to SeaTalkng Converter Kit, which in turn would be interfaced to the a78 MFD.
