[CA11] Seatalk ng connections
When using a Seatalk ng 5 way connector, do unused white spur connections on the 5 way need some kind of terminator or can they be left open?

RE: [CA11] Seatalk ng connections
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum wing15601,

When properly constructed, a backbone will be left with two unoccupied backbone (blue) sockets ... one at each end of the backbone. A SeaTalkng Termination Plug (blue) will be inserted into each of these two sockets. It is recommended that an A06032 SeaTalkng Blanking Plug be installed within any unoccupied spur (white) sockets within a SeaTalkng networking component or device within the network. The blanking plug will seal the spur socket to prevent potential damage from the marine environment.
