Connecting SeaTalkng to ACU-100
Please see attached pictures,
when I have removed green connection block, did not pay attention how it was connected to the unit. It can be installed in 2 positions, please confirm which one is right A or B |

RE: Connecting SeaTalkng to ACU-100
Hi jgol,
You appear to have the wrong colored wiring block in both the STng and rudder reference terminals. The colors on the base of the ACU are correct and you should connect corresponding color wires to each location. On the STng terminal the far left is where the shield wire connects. Happy boating Kind regards Jules |

RE: [JB11] Connecting SeaTalkng to ACU-100
Thank you Jules,
should the seatalk block be 4 or 5 wire terminal, mine is 4. And 5 wire cable was supplied in the box, please see attached piture. The autopilot system was purchased at the end of January and that's was included in the box. It looks like 2 blocks (seatalk and rudder) are wrong. How that can be resolved? John |

RE: Connecting SeaTalkng to ACU-100
Hi John,
The SeaTalk-ng block should be 5 terminal and colored to correspond with the sticker on the ACU. The rudder terminal should also have a block with corresponding colors. To get your autopilot going, in the SeaTalk-ng terminal you can connect color for color as per the ACU base sticker and leave out the far left wire which is a shield wire to protect against electrical interference, but the system will operate. Make sure you connect it ASAP when you get the correct wiring block. You should contact the retailer and ask them to supply the correct terminal blocks. Happy boating Kind regards Jules |
