[CA] LH3 to LH2 Data Master conflict
I have an eS that has been upgraded to LH3 (latest version) and an e7D that is at the latest version of LH3. The eS was the Data Master when it was LH2. After the update, for some reason the e7D (even though it sees it, and it's set up to recongize the eS as DM), keeps loosing communication to the DM and tries to set itself as a DM. I tried a factory reset, but it did not work. Is there something specific I need to do to set the eS as DM with the e7D as secondary?

RE: [CA] LH3 to LH2 Data Master conflict
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Chuck,
MFDs running LightHouse II software are not designed simultaneous operation within an Ethernet communications network which also features MFDs running LightHouse 3 software. Please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject. Should you desire to keep these MFDs within the same Ethernet communications network, then it would be recommended that the eS-Series MFD's software be downgraded to LightHouse II v19.03. |
